Making a Widget

The first thing you'll want to do after signing up is to create a new widget. You can customize it as much as you please:

Widget form
Creating a new widget

While you're editing it, you get a live preview of the widget next to the form:

One of the coolest things you can configure about your widget is the "display type". By default, it's a link. But you can also choose to display it as a "Tab", which means it'll stick to the side of the page and look like, well, a tab:

Note that your widget will only work when installed on the domain(s) you configure here. This is to help ensure you only get legitimate feedback from your site.

After you've created your widget, you'll see a page with its information and the code you can copy and paste to add it to your site. This is what the page will look like after you've received some feedback.

Reporting

After your widget's installed, you can see feedback, clicks, and impressions for it on your dashboard.

An impression is recorded every time a page containing the widget is loaded.

A click is recorded when somebody clicks on your link opening the modal.

Feedback is recorded when somebody submits the form, letting you know what's on their mind.

Metrics on your dashboard

You can view a list of all the feedback, impressions, and clicks in a list with more details and the option to export to a CSV.

User Management

You can add any number of users and manage their access.

Viewing your current users

When you create a new user, you can make them an admin to let them manage the widgets, or only let them see the data.
